SCREEN PRINTING OPERATOR

We have an immediate opening for an experienced screen printer. Minimum of 3 years experience is preferred. We have expanded our shop operation with all new screen printing equipment: dryers, manual and automatic printers.  Our business is producing high volume and high quality custom graphics and prints.

Experience working in a fast paced production environment as well as operating screen printing equipment preferred.  Must be able to work in high temperature environment especially during summer days due to our heavy use of heaters, dryers and printers.  Knowledge about all phases of screen printing process, including setup, screen reclaiming, preparation and registration is preferred.  In addition, the ideal candidate will have some computer knowledge such as MS Office suite, CorelDraw, Photoshop and/or Illustrator. Digital drawing and logo creation experience would be a valuable asset, but not required.

If you are knowledgeable in printing or have previously worked creating digital artwork/design simply bring your credentials, including your portfolio and educational background and we will schedule you for an interview. The individual must be innovative, hardworking, and easy to work with.

Job duties may include: digital artwork preparation, separation and printing; cleaning, reclaiming and preparation of silk screens; operating the manual and automatic screen printing equipment, setting up print jobs and assisting with incoming/outgoing shipments. Must be able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.

EMBROIDERY OPERATOR


We have an immediate opening for an embroidery operator. Minimum of 2 years experience working in a fast paced production environment is required. The potential candidate should be able to work in a high temperature environment especially during summer days due to our heavy use of heaters, dryers and printers.

Desire to follow instructions, learn quickly and to work hard in a team setting are a must! Knowledge about phases of embroidery process, including setup, digitizing, threads, needles, backing, trimming, folding, packing and general use of computers use is required.  In addition, the ideal candidate will have some knowledge of tools and software used for embroidery. Graphic design, digital artwork, digitizing logos and logo creation experience would be a valuable asset, but not required.

Job duties may include running embroidery machines, setting up designs, digitizing, monogramming and assisting in screen printing production as well with incoming/outgoing shipments. Must be able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.

DIGITAL GRAPHIC DESIGNER


We have an immediate opening for digital graphic designer. Minimum of 5 years experience working with digital artwork, designs, graphic art and logo creation is a must. Knowledge of creating artwork for printing and embroidery, separating colors, printing artwork, familiarity with the phases of screen printing and embroidery process, including setup, screen reclaiming, preparation and registration, printing, drying, folding and packaging, digitizing are also preferred.

The potential candidate should be knowledgeable using personal computers and different design tools and programs such as: Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Studio and Macromedia Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, CorelDraw, Photoshop, Illustrator. Additionally, knowledge of QuickBooks, programming and website development, web content update and search engine optimization would be a valuable asset, but not required.

Job duties may include: creation of digital artwork, recreating low resolution images, layout of customer logos and designs, printing and color separating original artwork, use of screen printing and embroidery machinery, computer, software and website management.

Willing to train the perfect candidate who will in return ommit to a long time workmanship.  This is a great oppotunity for learning and advancing your skills in graphic desgin, digital artwork as well as gaining experience in the screen printing field.

 

Paid holidays. Pay rate is based on experience.
Jobs are located at our shop on Route 201 in Bingham, Maine (1/2 hour north of Skowhegan / 1 hour north of Augusta).
Regular office hours are 8-5pm Monday - Friday.
